iTunes/iBooks & Shipping Update

cover-unfetteredHi Everyone,

Got a few pieces of information for you all!

First, I just spent the last two weeks shipping out copies of the trade edition of Unfettered. Talk about exhausting! Both mental and physical. It was hard going for a while but I managed to get orders #1-2363 shipped out. Those are only the orders with the trade edition of Unfettered and/or The Dark Thorn. As I’ve reported earlier, the limited Signed & Numbered edition of Unfettered won’t be ready for another few months.

I still have several hundred orders to ship out when I return from Comic Con. They won’t take me long to get out—a few days.

Now. About iTunes. I uploaded the eBook of Unfettered to Kindle, Nook, and Kobo at the same time as I uploaded to iTunes/iBooks. The others uploaded fine but iTunes did not. They are apparently still “reviewing” the book. What are they reviewing? I’m not sure.

Needless to say, I’m frustrated by this.

As a replacement, Jason Denzel at the Wheel of Time website Dragonmount has posted the eBook of Unfettered for Apple users to download. You can do that HERE!

Now a short thank you. Thank you all. You’ve made me exceedingly busy and that is always a good thing!

More soon!
Shawn

  1. Man, what hard work you have had the past few weeks! I am a past buyer of a signed The Dark Thorn and I await my signed Unfettered. I was just wondering if I ordered the trade versions of both books if it would be possible to get them in the next two weeks? I have a friend at work who is retiring in two week and I would love to get them for her. If that is too soon, I can order them and get her new address and send them there, so no worries on that. Plus, I have her reading Terry Brook’s newest book which arrived a day early at work from Amazon. Shawn, keep up the great work, I look forward to getting mine soon and hearing from you, and I hope that you are close to closing out your debt! Have a great day!

  2. Hey Shawn, Thanks a whole bunch for the quick postage.. especially all the way out here in the UK.. received it first thing Tuesday morning. And after reading the first few stories I’m looking forward to the rest of the book. Especially if its as enticing as Mr Rothfuss’ entry.

I have to admit that my ventures into fantasy, even after a decade of reading nothing but fantasy, is as nothing to the worlds I have yet to read about within this collection. Having read just the short story by Jacqueline Carey, I will be adding the first book of her collection onto my to-read list.

All I can say, with a mind that revels in new worlds to explore.. and a heart that desires new characters to know and love. Thank You.

  3. I can honestly say that I am so stoked to receive my copy, cannot wait!!!! Thank you so much for all the hard work you have put into it, you’re a legend! And I hope that you are doing well mate, apart from being exceedingly busy providing hours of awesome reading for hundreds of people all over the world!!!! – and potentially a good amount of procrastination from uni for me 😛 Thanks again mate!

  4. Just got my trade edition in the mail. Looks fabulous. I do have a mystery, however, to share.

I also ordered the ARC. That is still in its box in the wrapping remaining safe. However, on the outside of the box it shipped in I just noticed today that there is a handwritten message on the outside of the box. It says, “Vampires Suck.” Love it.

The trade edition showed up today as previously mentioned, and I checked the outside of the box it shipped in and there was no message written on the outside.

A mystery. Who wrote it? Why? These are the things I sit around thinking about.
