Projects Update

cover-brokenempirelimitedHi Everyone,

I have been asked several of the same questions a lot lately. So I figure it is time to post a project update about the books that are forthcoming from Grim Oak Press.

The S&N Edition of Unbound edited by Shawn Speakman

The signature pages are still being signed by the anthology’s contributors but we are making headway. There are only ten signatures left, several of which are in the Pacific Northwest and should go pretty quick.

The Broken Empire by Mark Lawrence

Originally, this omnibus was supposed to printed on October 31. Then Thomson Shore told me November 23. When I returned from the holiday, I asked for an update and it still hadn’t been done. After all of this patient waiting, they notified me this morning that the books will ship out tomorrow. That means I should have them by the end of next week. UPDATED: The books did not finish printing last week. They will now ship out December 6, 2016.

Unfettered II edited by Shawn Speakman

Thomson Shore has notified me that the trade hardcover will print on December 6. Whether that happens due to the lateness of The Broken Empire remains to be seen. Of course, the eBook is now available. UPDATED: Apparently, the books are almost finished and will ship the week of December 5.

The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks

This title is running about two months behind sadly, result of my mother’s passing and the two projects above requiring a bit more attention. All three Shannara books will now publish in 2017 along with Sometimes the Magic Works.

The Unremembered by Peter Orullian

Peter is still gathering the pieces he needs to complete the book. I hope he will do so by the end of the year.

When there is an update about one of these projects, I will update the website with it as well as our social media!

More news soon!

  1. Is it still actually 10 left to sign for unbound? Your update in the summer said 10 left to sign.

    1. It’s nine now. I wasn’t counting me last time. Two different authors have had the pages for a total of five months this year. Hard to get the book done when that happens, unfortunately.
