Welcome to the new Grim Oak Press!
This website has been built for you, the book lover and collector. We hope it improves your Grim Oak experience in every way, from locating the books you want to your checkout experience.
A little bit of background here. About four months ago, I decided two things. The first: It was time to launch the charity Grim Oak Shield, the non-profit that will help authors and artists who are weighed down by medical debt. It is my way of paying forward the aid I received with Unfettered.
The second: To maintain the health of Grim Oak Shield an ensure the viability of its important mission, Grim Oak Press would have to expand its line-up in a way — every way — for years to come. Shield needs books and contributors from Press. To aid in that, the books that Grim Oak Press will be publishing in 2018 and beyond are those I've always wanted to see published as beautiful editions. One of them is even a new, never-before-published book from Terry Brooks. In short, it is an exciting time!

I am excited about all of those books for different reasons. All will publish in 2018. Those books with sequels will see those sequels publish in 2019. And we have other books that we are pursuing even. When we can announce them, we will certainly do so.
You may have questions. I hope I have answers. What is Street Freaks by Terry Brooks? I cannot talk about it because we are still finalizing artwork and details. A post about that will be coming soon. Can I get matching numbers for Magician and Daughter of the Empire? Yes, most definitely! We will match any book with your previous numbers if we can. Are all the books signed by their authors? Yes, and signed by their artists too. What is Elegy for Darkness by Jacqueline Carey? It is not a new book but instead an omnibus of Banewreaker and Godslayer, the two books that in a way tell the epic tragedy of the losing side of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.
In the coming days, I will be posting more about these books and release dates.
Again, welcome to the new Grim Oak Press!
I'm excited you are here!
