Grim Oak Press is excited to exhibit November 20-21st at Dragonsteel 2023!
What is Dragonsteel 2023? It is a convention in Salt Lake City, Utah that bestselling author Brandon Sanderson and his amazing team began a few years ago. No comic books. No Hollywood celebrities. No gaming corporations. Instead, it prominently features SF&F book industry professionals—from artists and authors to agents and editors to publishers like us.
Who will be at the Grim Oak Press Booth #438? Grim Oak Press owner, author, and editor Shawn Speakman, and author, Hollywood screenwriter, and Unfettered contributor Eldon Thompson will be there to sign copies of their books. We also hope author Michael J. Sullivan will stop by to sign copies of Unfettered as well.

What?! What's the Grim Oak Coin: Dragonsteel 2023? We thought it would be fun to offer a celebratory Grim Oak Press 1.5" coin only available at Dragonsteel 2023. It will be limited to a quantity of 100, and it will have an antique silver finish. For the first hour of the convention on November 20th, we will have these at a discount for $10. Be sure to come to Booth #438 right when you enter the hall! One per person.
And of course, if we exhibit at 2024's Emerald City Comic Con and San Diego Comi-Con, we will produce coins for those cons that will be limited as well. And for those of you who do not attend conventions, we will also be producing a general Grim Oak Press coin that we will sell on the website soon.
Will you be offering any giveaways? Yes, we will. We have some fun things planned. Stop by our booth to discover what those are! Magnets and stickers? A TV? A rare edition? A Speakman tuckerization? Oh my!
