Join Our Newsletter & Social Media Channels

Hi Everyone,

Many of you have already signed up for our newsletter and follow us on social media. We love you for that.

This post is not for you though. Not at all. No, this is a blog post for new visitors, those who may have just learned about Grim Oak. Yes. You. Right there. You! This blog post is for you. Because if you are reading this, you likely just arrived to our website for the first time. And it's a lot to take in.

My name is Shawn Speakman. I am the publisher and creative director of Grim Oak Press. And with my business partners Jeff and Becky Lawson, we produce beautiful limited editions of favorite SF&F books. I've been doing this for almost ten years, ever since I published the award-winning anthology Unfettered. It's a joy of a job and our customers are as close to us as family. Over those years, we have created some gorgeous books. I think our community members would say the same. If you are a long-standing member and you say as much, your check is in the mail!

For those of you who are new, we are here to answer any questions you have. But more importantly, I'm here to share how you can make sure not to miss out on any future news announcements as well as entice you to join our community of amazing bibliophiles.

First, for those of you on social media, here are the important channels to join:

If you don't like social media, we also have a newsletter. To sign up for the newsletter, simply use the pop-up window or visit the lower left-hand corner of the website. Enter in your email address and it's that easy. We send out newsletters usually twice a month. Unless we have a lot of news to share, at which point it may be once a week.

You've probably seen our BIG announcement about Patrick Rothfuss? If not, click HERE. After you sign up for the Grim Oak  newsletter, be sure to sign up for Underthing Press's newsletter HERE.

Welcome to the Grim Oak community! We are excited you are here!

Best Holiday Magic,

Shawn Speakman
