Prince of the Blood Has 500 Copy Print Run

Prince of the Blood Has 500 Copy Print Run

Hi Grim Oakers,

Tomorrow, at 2PM ET / 11AM PT, people who possess a Limited Edition copy of A Darkness at Sethanon by Raymond E. Feist will be able to pre-order the Limited Edition of Prince of the Blood.

We have decided the Limited Edition print run of Prince of the Blood will be 500 copies. We looked at several factors to come to this conclusion. What does this mean? It means we can match numbers 1-500 of A Darkness at Sethanon with those same upcoming numbers on Prince of the Blood. If you own a copy of A Darkness at Sethanon that's between 501 and 750 though, we will not be able to match because they won't exist.

It also means you are not guaranteed a copy. There could be 750 people trying to buy 500 copies. Therefore, in a way, this is similar to a public sale but with far fewer people to compete with. First purchased, first acquired. The pre-order goes live at 2PM ET / 11AM PT.

Yesterday, I sent an email to people who purchased A Darkness at Sethanon from Grim Oak Press. It included the Passcode needed to enter the page where you can order the Limited Edition of Prince of the Blood. If you did not receive this email, please reach out to becky@grimoakpress.com. If there are any copies remaining after the two-week pre-order period, they will be made available to everyone on June 5th at 11AM PT.

And finally, it was a real joy reading the revised edition of Prince of the Blood. I'd only read the original publication and never Ray's updated version. I'm eager to see the pre-order do well tomorrow so we can continue with one of my favorites, The King's Buccaneer!

With Magic,
