Last week, Allen Morris and I got together for the second Grim Oak Podcast where we revealed the beautiful new cover for our forthcoming special edition, The Power That Preserves, Book Three in The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, Unbeliever, by Stephen R. Donaldson.
We had great fun during the podcast, though my image didn't pop up often in the video -- probably for the best, in all honesty. Ha! Here is that video:

The lettered edition will be $400. The limited edition will be $125, the increase is due to the increase in paper costs. Those of you who have pre-ordered The Illearth War double-signed by Stephen R. Donaldson and Allen Morris will have the early right to buy the matching letter/number on The Power That Preserves. You will receive an email on Friday, April 22nd, about how to do so. Then on Monday, May 2nd, at 11AM PT, the remaining copies of The Power That Preserves will be posted for the public.
Here is the other good news. With our new model for book production and pre-ordering, The Power That Preserves is super close to completed. Files will be going to the printer once I finish the omega read, which will happen next week. I would imagine we will receive finished copies in July or August if there are no production delays.
And before someone asks, yes, Stephen R. Donaldson and I have agreed to produce The Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, Unbeliever. When we know more about that project and its first book, The Wounded Land, I will share the news.
