Street Freaks Picked As Amazon SF&F Book of the Month

Street Freaks Picked As Amazon SF&F Book of the Month

Tomorrow sees the publication of Street Freaks by Terry Brooks!

As you can imagine, we at Grim Oak Press are excited about it. Brooks started writing the SF futuristic thriller five years ago, the story of Ash Collins trying to overcome terrible odds in a dangerous future as Brooksian as his other work. But we aren't the only people excited about the book. Robin Hobb, Marie Lu, James Rollins, and Tamora Pierce all loved the book—and now Amazon Books has gotten behind it too!

I am pleased to announce that Street Freaks has been chosen by Amazon Books as one of the Best Books of October: Science Fiction & Fantasy! Here is the list of books that join Street Freaks:

  • Phoenix Unbound by Grace Draven
  • A Winter's Promise by Christelle Dabos
  • Grim Lovelies by Megan Shepherd
  • Treason of Hawks by Lila Bowen
  • Street Freaks by Terry Brooks
  • An Easy Death by Charlaine Harris
  • Zero Sum Game by S.L. Huang
  • The Consuming Fire by John Scalzi
  • Vengeful by V.E. Schwab
  • Exit Strategy by Martha Wells

Be sure to order your copy of Street Freaks now! Either from your favorite bookseller—like Amazon—or other places! And there are signed copies on Grim Oak Press too!

Check out these other Best of selections too! For those of you who follow my own work, Unfettered II had the prototype story for Charlaine Harris's An Easy Death. If you loved her story in that anthology, the full novel is out now! And it's great!

More tomorrow!
