Pre-Order Now: The Belgariad by David Eddings

Pre-Order Now: The Belgariad by David Eddings

Grim Oak Press is excited to announce Limited and Lettered editions of the books comprising The Belgariad by David Eddings, one of the foundational series of high fantasy!

I can't tell you how important this series was to me growing up. After reading The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks and as a result falling in love with the fantasy genre, I ravenously read Stephen R. Donaldson, Anne McCaffrey, Barbara Hambly, Raymond E, Feist, and of course David Eddings. Eddings had an easy-read feel at that time that I truly appreciated and still do, but he was able to create an entire world featuring fantastic characters. I mean, will anyone ever forget Silk? Or Durnik? Or Polgara? Hell, I'm probably married to a redhead because of Ce'Nedra!

Each volume of The Belgariad will be lovingly given the Grim Oak treatment using the best materials possible with a full-color wrap around dust jacket and interior art by the talented Allen Morris! These will be published as individual volumes through the end of 2020, if not sooner.

Allen Morris will be signing each book! The Belgariad consists of the novels:

All five $65 Limited Edition books are available right now for pre-order. This allows international customers to place a single order and save over a hundred dollars on shipping, although all books will ship at the same time after Enchanters' End Game publishes. USA customers can pre-order all books at the same time too, or order them individually and Jeff will match numbers. And since so many people have requested it, we will also offer a $65 slipcase that houses all five limited edition books!

You can also see the entire collection:

Don't forget the slipcase:

The $300 Lettered Edition of Pawn of Prophecy is available for pre-order right now. They likely won't last long. If you happen to secure one, you will be expected to complete the series as each Lettered Edition title is available for pre-order. If you decide you do not wish to continue, we ask you allow us to buy back the book(s) so we may allow another fan to pick up the whole set. The lettered editions will be housed in individual clamshells and they are included in the price.

And the final good news about Grim Oak Press releasing The Belgariad? Before David and Leigh Eddings passed away, they gave their life's work and rights to Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Reed is a private liberal arts college and, strangely enough, I almost attended that school like the author did.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us. And good luck!

Best Wishes,
