Hi Grim Oakers!
Becky and I have some news to share on various fronts! Read on!
First, we've had a lot of people asking if we have extra copies of The Dragonbone Chair signed by Tad Williams and Donato. And not only that, but slipcases to match. Not surprising, since the book turned out so beautiful. Well, Becky always withholds copies to ensure we cover any shipping damages. Now that enough time has gone, we feel comfortable releasing the remaining copies on Monday, April 17th at 11AM PT. Mark your calendar to be reminded if you missed out on our first Osten Ard limited edition! Note: If you already ordered a copy of this book, you cannot order a second copy.
Second, we have a few copies of Digger Unearthed by Ursula Vernon still available—and two of the editions are double-signed by Vernon and foreword writer Patrick Rothfuss. Now that the Kickstarter orders are mostly shipped, we have placed the remaining slipcases up on the website too. Order one for your Digger Unearthed regular hardcover or limited edition.
Third, so many people have requested a second printing of Magician double-signed by Raymond E. Feist & Don Maitz that we are going to produce it. The book will not be numbered. But it will still match the limited editions of Silverthorn and A Darkness at Sethanon, meaning people can have a fully signed set on their shelves. Signature pages and printing quotes will be signed over the next few weeks. We will share the pre-order date in a future newsletter. Stay tuned.
Fourth, in shipping news, King of Thorns double-signed by Mark Lawrence & Jason Chan will begin shipping around April 12th. It will take Becky several, several weeks to get all copies shipped so please be patient. By the time she wraps up shipping on King of Thorns, we should—and I stress should—be close to receiving our copies of In His Majesty's Service by Naomi Novik & Daniel Govar. More news about that closer to warehouse delivery.
And finally, my new high fantasy novel, The King-Killing Queen, and its prequel short story/graphic novel The Briar-Sword Monk, launches on Kickstarter April 11th at 9AM ET / 6AM PT. There will be an Early Bird Special for the first 24 hours. To ensure you don't miss out on those Early Bird Specials, click HERE. And if you sign up and then pledge to a physical item tier, you will receive a FREE Old World Tales pin!
Thank you all for your continued support in all things Grim Oak. We love ya for it!
With Magic,
