What Wishsong Scenes Should Simonetti Illustrate?

We want to hear from you!

Marc Simonetti has had a great year so far for Grim Oak Press. He finished his work on The Elfstones of Shannara early this year and that book is now available for purchase. He was nominated for not one but two Chesley Awards for his cover and interior artwork on last year's The Sword of Shannara. Let's hope he wins! And just this week he finished two full-color pieces and eleven interior pieces for Street Freaks by Terry Brooks, publishing October 9, 2018!

But his work is not done yet for Grim Oak. He will begin work on the interior illustrations for The Wishsong of Shannara in a few weeks. It will finish up the Shannara trilogy in exciting fashion.

This is where you come in. Use the comment section below on this post to share your ideas for what scenes in Wishsong Marc should illustrate! That's right. We are taking your recommendations and will compile the list based on those ideas below. Marc will then begin work and we are aiming for a November/December release.

We ask one thing though. The Jachyra will undoubtedly be in everyone's lists. Since there are two scenes with that creature and two of Terry's favorite characters, you can only pick one scene where the Jachyra is used! Will it be Allanon or will it be Garet Jax? You decide!

Get creative, all! Share your thoughts. Be a part of the process!
