In 2024 Grim Oak Press exhibited at Dragonsteel Nexus, Brandon Sanderson's convention in Salt Lake City, UT, where the award-winning publisher released Grimoire, an anthology containing short stories by attending authors. It sold out on the first day.

Due to reader demand, a new Grimoire will publish at Emerald City Comic Con 2026 in Seattle, WA, creating a new anthology of stories sure to delight.

Question: What about other authors attending? Why aren't they included?

Answer: At the time of delivering Grimoire 5 to the printer to ensure copies arrive in time for the March 2026 convention, ECCC had not posted the names of authors attending. It is difficult to invite people to an anthology if we don't know they will be there.

Question: I'm not able to attend Emerald City Comic Con 2026 but I want Grimoire. How can I get a copy?

Answer: The Grim Oak Press warehouse will be shipped copies for exactly this reason. Pre-order your copy now from this page by selecting SHIP TO ME and have it mailed after Emerald City Comic Con 2026. These will only be signed by Terry Brooks, Brenda Cooper, Todd Lockwood, Shawn Speakman, Nate Taylor, Robin Hobb, and Kat Ogden.
